In My Bag: Silver sandals

I went shopping the other day with something specific in mind: an alternative to flip flops. There are tons of jeweled options out there, but I had my eye on something that could go with a variety of casual looks for both day and evening. I had seen several pairs of silver leather sandals in the market, from the pages of Glamour to the JCrew catalog so I knew there would be tons in the stores. After trying on about 6 pairs (from $24.99 to $165) throughout the day, I decided on this pair from Steve Madden for a cool $59 at Macy's. Easy to slip on and off; they add just the right amount of daytime shimmer and the price is right for a pair of sandals I only will want to wear for one season.
