Memorial Day Weekend Must-Haves

Jet-setting this weekend? Headed to the Hamptons? My low-key plans involve relaxed-chic style and minimal luggage. I'm planning on lots of cocktails on the deck, grilling on the bbq and a possible dinner in town. I'm relying more on accessories and makeup to change my look throughout the course of the weekend. My travel bag (believe it or not, I'm still using my 9 year old black nylon Prada super tote) will be filled with 4 fitted polos, 2 Bermuda shorts, one pair of jeans, 2 woven leather belts and, of course, my clear jellies and gold wedges. Add a pair of flip flops and a just-in-case sweater for good measure and I've got every outing covered.

As for jewelry, I'm snagging one of my new leather cord necklaces (perfect for poolside cocktails as well as brunch with the family the next day), three pairs of earrings and tons of gold chains, like my super mother of pearl shell pendant.

If you've been following along, you know I'm obsessed with every color available in Chanel's Glossimer lip gloss collection so I have plenty of variety at my disposal. Add a subtle tan courtesy of Jergen's Natural Glow, expertly-applied black Lancome Definicils mascara, the tiniest swipe of Nars Copacabana shimmer on my nose and cheekbones and I'm set.
