A Bright Spot In My Wardrobe: Lemony Yellow

No, it's no April Fool's joke...the color you absolutely need to have right now is bright, bright yellow. A shot of this cheery, lemony hue will do wonders for your mental outlook. If you can't do head-to-toe yellow, try a small dose in the form of a simple accessory. Looks especially sharp when paired with khaki, navy, white and Schiap pink. A few of my favorite ways to sneak this otherwise-unflattering shade into my wardrobe:

Teen Vogue: Party Time

Good stuff: my ribbon and chain link necklaces (a steal, mind you at $31!) were just featured in Teen Vogue for their prom special (see bottom right hand corner of page). While I'm well beyond the prom years, I do like to wear mine with a simple-yet-sexy tank top and jeans. It's a great way to add oomph to a super casual look -- the metallic chain gives off a touch of glam and the organza ribbons offer a hint of sweetness.
